My Project

The Wolverine Book Cafe is extending its space to accommodate the teachers. They are the engine that keeps the school running. A quiet space is very hard to come by. Having a designated area in the library to plan activities, collaborate with fellow teachers, engage, and rejuvenate daily is important. This time and space are critical to assist teachers in the ability to pour back into the students.

Teachers need to feel empowered and appreciated so they can teach at their best, be a sounding board, and be the outlet that students need on a daily basis.

Having a designated space can ultimately lead to better communication skills, teamwork building, promote a positive working environment, and benefit from some well deserved mindful minutes. The space can also serve as an opportunity for teachers to connect with each other and build relationships.

Maintaining a teacher’s schedule is rigorous work. Why not offer a mindful, meaningful, and inviting space to make each day a little less stressful?
