Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Providing coffee and hot drink items will create a welcoming and supportive environment for students as they start their day. Many students in our school face economic hardships, and having access to a warm cup of coffee or tea can help them feel cared for and ready to focus in class.

Studies have shown that a sense of community and comfort can positively impact student engagement and learning.

By offering this simple yet meaningful resource, students will be more alert, motivated, and prepared to participate in their education.

The main goal of this project is to provide students with a space to socialize, connect, and feel a sense of belonging before the school day begins. This initiative is not just about coffee—it’s about fostering relationships, reducing stress, and creating a positive school culture. By giving students access to a morning routine that promotes well-being, we can improve their overall school experience, leading to better attendance, focus, and engagement in class.

Our students are incredibly resilient, hardworking, and full of potential. Despite facing financial and personal challenges, they show up every day ready to learn and grow. They deserve a supportive environment that acknowledges their needs and provides them with small comforts that make a big difference. This coffee initiative is a way to show them that their school cares about their well-being and success, helping them start each day with confidence and a sense of community.
