Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am the librarian at MES, a K-5 Dual Language school. No matter their home language, all of our students read, write and speak both English and Spanish. Our community is both linguistically and culturally diverse which is one of the many things that I love about working at MES.

My Project

I currently have 18 codable Ozobots in our library. With pandemic challenges including distancing and sanitizing procedures, I am struggling to allow all students the opportunity to touch and code the robots. It would be fantastic if I could make sure that each student has the chance to code a robot like this at their own level (through a computer or through color codes with markers) but having a 1:1 ratio of robots to students. I only need four more robots to make this happen!!! Thanks for considering helping with this project!
