My Students

In my first grade classroom, we continually explore, inquire, communicate, collaborate, experiment, practice, create and grow!

These students are first graders in Carlsbad, California, we are a multicultural classroom with so much to share with each other and learn from each other.

I am so proud to be a part of their foundation and help inspire our future in these great little minds! They are all so excited to learn each day and give their best in our classroom community, as well as in the strong school wide community we have built.

My Project

Students can learn to code and use technology in first grade! The Ozobot coding program is a great hands on way to see how coding works and inspire creativity in these young scientific minds.

Using the Ozobot coding kit technology in the classroom opens up new worlds of scientific exploration.

Students will grasp concepts easily and with excitement as they explore new ways to make the robots move around because of the coding they design! I believe that letting children explore and create at an early age will foster independence, creativity, and confidence to maximize their learning potential and show that the mind has no limits.
