Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at a Title I school where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. I have high expectations that my students will grow and achieve beyond the expectations set for them. We study STEM topics such as robotics, engineering, and coding along with our curriculum.

School is a safe and fun place for my students.

They enjoy coming to school and learning through hands-on, engaging activities. For many of my students, school is the highlight of their day.

My Project

My students love any STEM activity they can get their hands on! One of their absolute favorite STEM activities is coding. I want my students to be able to learn and reinforce their coding abilities with the Dash and Dot Robot STEM Creativity Kit. This kit will allow my students to learn to code in a fun and carefree way! My students will use the entertaining activity cards to learn with while playing games simultaneously.

When you donate to our project, you will not only contribute to our joy of coding, but you will also be providing opportunities for my students to learn the skills they need to be successful.

The Dash and Dot Robot will teach my students skills like collaboration and critical thinking.
