My Project

Coding is such a wonderful experience for young children to get their technological minds working and ready for upper grades. The Bee-Bot is an exciting robot designed specifically for use by young students.

This little robot is easy for my Transisiotnal Kindergarteners (TK) to operate and helps to teach directionality, sequencing, problem-solving, estimation and counting building knowledge in coding.

Plus it is fun!

There is a See & Say feature that gives each Bee-Bot a voice. You are able to enter a program with a series of arrow keys and then the Bee-Bot will follow step by step. We used these once in Maker's Space and the students enjoyed being able to build on their groups inputs to move the Bee-Bots through mazes and across their tables.
