This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In today's digital age, understanding the basics of coding and programming is as essential as reading and writing. However, for young students, especially those in under-resourced communities, these concepts can seem daunting without the right tools to make learning engaging and accessible. That's where Bee-Bots come in!

Our Title I public school serves a diverse population of students, many of whom face challenges both inside and outside the classroom.

Despite these obstacles, our students are eager to learn and explore new concepts, especially in the areas of technology and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). However, we currently lack the resources to introduce them to coding in an engaging, hands-on way. By incorporating Bee-Bots into our curriculum, we can provide our students with an exciting and interactive way to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. These little robots will not only make learning fun but also help bridge the opportunity gap in STEM education.
