My Project

Coding robots to complete tasks allows students to solve real problems. With the Spike Essentials kits, students will learn to code robots to complete specific tasks. From there, they can use the robots to create their own models that address issues here at school. Our students care deeply about their surroundings, especially our unique campus with its variety of habitats. From the pond to the wildlife habitat build just for local birds, students are constantly working to improve the environment. They are looking for ways to collect water samples, keep pests off the veggies they plant, water the garden without eroding the soil, and more! Students will learn to code robots and express their inventive ideas with this technology. These skills will enhance their lives toward any college or career choice they make. Currently, access to this technology is limited at our school, with as few as 15 children getting the opportunity to work with LEGO robotics. Multiple Spike Essentials kit will allow far more students to gain access to this skill development.
