Coding, Creating, Connecting!

Help me give my students 4 Sphero coding robots so we can learn to code while making memories and connecting our learning with real word experiences.

My Project

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I asked for 4 spheros for my classroom. I am lucky enough to teach our entire school. I teach STEAM to K-4 grade and I get to see each class once a week. Our school has approximately 540 students. These items would help my class by giving them more options when working on our annual parade. Students use different coding robots to practice coding and then they use their creativity to build a parade float. At the end we use the coding robots to travel through the school for the entire school to watch. The students love this so much and right now we don't have enough robots and it is difficult to make sure everyone gets the most out of using them. The groups they are in a large and by adding these I can make the groups much smaller.

My goal is to teach them how to be creative and learn to be problem solvers, give them memories that learning is fun, and connecting it to real life experiences.

I won't only use these for this project. I teach K-4 and all students would get to utilize the sphero robots with different projects we do throughout the year.
