My Project

In today's world, children need to develop much more than just academic skills in school. Problem-solving, critical thinking, perseverance, cooperation, and creativity are all skills and qualities that teachers can help even the youngest learners begin to develop. One way to do this, while also helping students develop technological skills needed for the future, is engaging students in coding tasks.

For this project, I am requesting Code and Go Robot Mouse kits to engage students in cooperative and screen-free learning activities.

The materials inside the kits allow students to work together using basic coding skills to guide a mouse through a maze to the finish line (a yummy piece of cheese!). Students can choose to use pre-designed activity cards to get them started or they can use their imaginations to make their own maze designs. Through trial and error, students will be learning and growing throughout the entire process!
