My Project

The coats for my students will help them stay warm this winter. Staying warm will decrease stress about being cold and help the young minds be open and engaged to learning opportunities. Long exposure to the cold can affect learning and memory.

The students in my district come from a wide variety of homes, ethnic groups and financial backgrounds.

Some students may be from other countries and experiencing cold weather for the first time. Preschooler brains are like sponges they soak up learning experiences. These coats will help the preschool brain to continue to soak up knowledge and remember information for learning.
