Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are the most inspiring group of children I have ever met. Each and everyday they arrive at school ready to learn despite any difficulties they may experience from transitioning from being home full time to now being away from home 7 plus hours a day. Many of my students come from immigrant households of families that are recently arrived to the United States. They each show resilience and determination even at their young age. My goal is to allow each student whose family is unable to afford a coat for this winter the opportunity to be warm. They are each the the lawyers, teachers and professionals of tomorrow.
