Clothing for the Cold

My Project

Clothing, especially clothing that is new and clean, is a privilege to many students in my school. We have many students who walk to school whether it is raining or snowing or worse. We want these students to be as successful as they can when they enter our building and if I can do something to help them find comfort, I will.

No one can be successful when they are cold or uncomfortable.

The clothing items I have requested are specifically to meet the needs I see each day. As I stated above, some students arrive on campus in clothes that are either wet or clothes that don't fit. We also have girls who are experiencing puberty for the first time and they deserve to have that process go as smoothly as it can and providing new pants seems to help. We also have students who have accidents or who get messy throughout the day whether that be from recess or spilled milk at lunch. Whatever the reason for the need, I want to be able to solve the problem when I can. With your donation to this project, I hope to begin the process of stocking a clothes closet that students will have access to when they need something! We hope to include pants, shirts, and in the future jackets for all the students that are in need.
