Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is made up of English Language Learners, general education students and students with disabilities. Even with their various learning challenges and language challenges, my students never fail to exceed my expectations, which as a teacher is always humbling. These incredible learners deserve to have the supplies they need.

My Kindergartners are very enthusiastic and excited learners. They just need some additional tools to get them on their way to learning.

My Project

The students in our school are required to wear white uniform shirts. However, this can be a struggle for some parents with children growing so quickly. In order to take the burden off of our parents, we would like to provide uniform shirts for them.

Students grow so quickly in elementary school and play so much that their clothes get worn and outgrown.

The students need to feel good about themselves by having new, clean clothes which fit them correctly. This gift will not only help some of my students, but it will be shared with the rest of the school as well.
