Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are eager to learn and improve themselves. They are innovators who need some technological advances and with these tools they will flourish! Most of them are disadvantaged children who live at poverty level. Help us close the gap!

My students are a really well behaved class.

Though we have good days and bad days we are a very open class. They have tons of questions! They are hard workers and their personalities help the day go smoothly. We have our sensitive students whose goal is to be better at handling social situations. We have our naturally hyper students who are always awaiting the next challenge. Our school is one of the best middles schools in our town and we are proud.

My Project

With this iPad and a digital multimedia receiver, the difference in our classroom will be enormous. My students will have projected clear notes on the board to copy from. They will be able to play interactive games and watch videos that help us understand content. My students will have the option to use it for reinforcements or reteaching and use it for our learning center. We will be able to have a better use of our current projector which is limited to my laptop. This has been a terrible nightmare as my personal laptop doesn't always connect correctly. With this iPad and the connector, we'll be able to project anything we need and my laptop won't be necessary.

It will be a change from losing class time due to technical issues.

This will help students overall. It will give kids the opportunity to have daily access to the Internet, the news, the weather and so many more things!
