Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Although a clock is not on our supply list, we still need paper and scissors! My school provides supplies for every student, but with a very limited state budget, it's challenging to cover everything. As a second-year teacher, I need help providing materials that will be used this year and in the future. Based on last year's needs, I have created a list of items that will help fill in the gaps.

You will directly support my students' daily academic learning by donating to this project!

We have routines and procedures that require specific supplies, such as whiteboard work for math with Expo markers every day.

Last year, my students greatly benefited from using computer mice with their school laptops, making it easier to navigate between programs. Pencil boxes help keep them organized and aware of their supplies. Water bottles reduce the time spent in the hallway "getting drinks." We use cleaning wipes every Friday to maintain a clean classroom environment, and having these readily available encourages students to clean up spills or sticky messes immediately.

Additionally, I wished I had art supplies like paint last year for students to use during free time and projects.
