Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year I will be teaching computer science to scholars that are either in general education, special education, ICT and transitional bilingual setting.

The scholars of my school have such a strong desire and drive to move to the 21st century in technology.

Our scholars desire to learn with the right resources and tools. We are currently a focus school and with your help, we can get out of being one. These scholars are passionate and want to increase their knowledge and confidence with the use of technology.

My Project

These materials would help my younger students how to maneuver the mouse and learn important clicking skills. Many of my scholars are so use to touch screen (tablets) that they don’t know how to use a mouse. I want to bring this basic skill back to my classroom. The mice we have are outdated and kids break wires so I would like to update them. Dry erase marker is an easy tool that could be used in the classroom.them. The kids can plan, write their codes and share their idea using dry erase markers. These tools would be awesome and supportive.
