Welcome to Instructional Technology, where everything is dot "calm," well almost everything. I teach in the computer lab at my school, which is in the lower-income area of town. I teach every student in the school, which includes kindergarten through fifth grade students at least once a week for only 40 minutes. I chose to be the computer lab teacher because I think technology skills are just as valuable as reading, writing, and 'rithmetic in today's world.
Just like in a self-contained classroom, I have students of varying abilities when it comes to technology. With only 40 minutes once a week, every second is valuable in teaching my students about technology. By supplying my students with child-sized mice and mouse pads for those mice, I can better meet the fine motor skill needs of all students who enter my classroom so that we can use the time we have together in the most efficient way.
The lab is in need of 30 child-sized mice as well as mouse pads for those mice to help my students learn as productively as possible in order for them to be up to date on today's technology.
Your donation can help my students click their way to an A+ year and an A+ life in a technology driven world.
