My Students

I work in the library of a very diverse high school. My students range in age from 15-19 in grades 9-12. Students are allowed to use the library all day long with a pass. They have time to come in before school, during classes, and during lunch.

Here a WGHS, we want a document camera to show images and book pages to students from their seat.

WG Media Center will host students for research and other activities. We have an open policy with teacher permission of course.

My Project

Demonstrations in the media center classroom are often difficult to see, especially so during this time of social distancing in the classroom. A document camera will help enlarge and media specialist's projects and demonstrations of book pages for students to see from their seats. It will also allow for the students learning from home to feel more connected to the classroom setting. I will be able to easily record demonstration videos for students to refer to on their laptops while at school or at home. These types of demonstrations happen daily in the classroom. A projector would help greatly!
