Hello! I am the STEM teacher, and I teach children from Pre-K to fifth grade. I am looking forward to introducing the world of STEM to my students. It is so exciting to be teaching these children how to be real-world problem solvers using 21st-century skills. My students are 39% ELL. This is the first time in school for many of these students from other countries.
I also have an ICT class for each grade and a horizon, which is an 8:1:1 program for autistic children (K to 3) as well as three 12:1:1 (K to 4).
My school is also a Title I school, which qualifies 93% of the students for free lunch based on their economic status.
My Project
The Cricut Explore Air 2 Bundle will take design and creativity in our classroom to an entirely new level! This amazing piece of technology will allow my creative learners to design and develop their own projects. This will help to develop their creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
This wonderful machine will help the students stay on task because as a reward they will be able to use this to enhance their designs.
My students spend a lot of time debating how to solve a problem correctly. I am hopeful that having this machine in the classroom will help them work more efficiently. It will also save time when it comes to drawing, or cutting letters, pictures, and objects in to include in their STEM projects.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
