Clear Backpacks for Campus Safety

Help me give my students clear backpacks to increase campus safety and improve overall learning conditions.

My Project

Knowledge Academy implemented a new policy at the start of the 2024-25 school year: All students are required to use clear backpacks. This policy was put in place due to the numerous tragedies seen across the country in schools. In an effort to improve overall campus safety, clear backpacks are required. Since implementing the new policy, however, the original backpacks we provided have not been able to sustain the everyday use that we had hoped.

My hope is to be able to provide new, higher quality clear backpacks to those students who otherwise could not afford to purchase a backpack for themselves.

35 backpacks will not solve the problem for the whole school, but it is one drop in the bucket towards upholding the safe learning environment we strive to provide for our students and their families.
