My Project

My students are smart, creative, kind, and happy. My students are in that unique stage in elementary where they are switching from learning to reading to reading to learning. they are switching from the parents taking responsibility for their learning and learning to take responsibility for themselves. They are trying to figure out what direction their lives are headed in at the same time as finding their own voice in the large and loud world.

My favorite thing about our students is how strongly their compassion and desire to learn shine through every day.

We are a largely middle-class school, and our rigorous curriculum standards demand an unrelenting pace and focus from our students every day. We have high expectations, and, to their credit, our students rise to meet those expectations every day!

With the resources in this project, I am hoping to help my students see that there are many ways to learn. One of the ways we focus on is the arts. I try and provide multiple types of learning opportunities for my students but that can also mean we have a fairly chaotic classroom. The drying rack will allow us to complete art projects while still having an organized classroom without drying art projects sprinkled all over the classroom. Thank you for being willing to help me guide my students through their learning experiences.
