Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom has many projects that requires additional supplies to clean our area. Being a large school, we do not have cleaning supplies that are always handy throughout the day. We have carpeted rooms and have always wanted to teach our students the independent life skills of making sure they can take care of the area at the end of the day or after a big activity. This will promote a healthy life style that will extend well into the community and in their homes. In addition to cleaning the area, we also want to promote clean water and responsible times of getting water and bathroom breaks. Since COVID, we have one filtered water fountain on each level that students can access. These water bottles will help relieve the pressure for parents to provide a suitable container and water for their child throughout the day.
