Cleaning Supplies for Our School Community

Help me give my students cleaner classrooms and a more hygienic school environment. As COVID-19 rates have recently soared to over 21%, it is essential that we maintain our attention to our students' safety, health, and wellbeing.

My Students

My Brooklyn, NY students light up the room with their smiles and they plant perseverance and gratitude in others’ hearts.

My students have multiple and severe disabilities, and they love to discover and learn.

Our 3rd-8th graders experience vocational programs once to twice per week during the school day and during the four-day afterschool program each week. Our vocational classrooms are thriving hubs of exploration, laughter, and learning daily. We offer training in various store, custodial, and office work positions. This year, we have added a second classroom. We are expanding our vocational offerings to include hydroponics, which will supply our cooking program. We are so excited! Vocational education supports our core academic, theater, dance, and photography programs. Vocational seeks to give our students the foundations and tools they need to become more autonomous and independent in high school and adulthood.

My Project

The Lysol Wipes and spray are essential consumables that are rapidly exhausted. These materials will ensure that the health and hygiene of our classrooms and school are maintained at the highest standard. Students have been cleaning and learning work and life skills as they help keep our classrooms and school clean.

Students also love making the deliveries of these supplies to all the classrooms and not having to wait for UPS.

Unfortunately, we no longer have bulk supplies to distribute and cannot meet the ongoing needs of school community members.
