My students are resilient, loving, caring, and overall hard workers. During Covid, it has been challenging not only for us as teachers but for our students. However, the majority of my students do their best and work hard to be in our virtual classrooms. Many of my students come from single-parent homes, from the Caribbean and Latin America. Though they have difficulties and language barriers, they are very eager to learn and be successful.
My Project
My students work very hard and come to school most days with the things they need to learn. It would be beneficial for them to have some specific cleaning supplies that would help keep our classroom safer.
By having immediate access to paper towels, tissues and hand sanitizer, my students will be able to make sure they are staying safe all the time with what they need.
The brooms will serve to clean up any mess as we create while we are learning. I would like to use the supplies to help us have the safest new year possible!
