This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is focused on making sure our kids are exposed to real life experiences and that includes having a job. These materials in this particular project are specifically for our cleaning crew and our new duties within our school. We want to be considered as the best cleaning crew this school has ever had and the overall goal is to get our students in the work force and be able to take pride in their abilities. What makes my students special is that they are very open to trying new things and they find joy in the simplest of things. I want to show them that they can have fun while completing their tasks and be acknowledged for keeping their school clean.

This project will allow us to "get our hands dirty" and introduce what having a job is like.
