Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our art classroom is a space full of creativity, imagination, and hands-on learning--but with all that creativity comes a big mess! Clay dust, glaze spills, and general debris can quickly accumulate and pose both safety and health risks. We need proper cleaning tools to keep our space safe and welcoming for all students.

We're requesting a vacuum suitable for cleaning around our kiln and clay areas and a mop to safely remove clay dust from the floor.

These items will help us maintain a tidy learning environment, prevent the buildup of potentially harmful dust, and instill a sense of responsibility and care for shared spaces.

Clay dust can be harmful when inhaled over time, and cleaning up after messy projects is essential to keeping our students healthy and our materials in top shape. With these cleaning supplies, my students will learn the importance of maintaining a clean workplace--skills that they'll carry with them beyond the art room. Your support will help us continue creating beautiful art in a clean, safe, and inspiring environment!
