This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

"Clean Space and Clean Minds" is a mental health fundraising project on DonorsChoose aimed at creating a supportive and therapeutic environment for students. The initiative recognizes the vital connection between mental well-being and a clean, organized space, particularly in educational settings where students often face stress and anxiety.

The project focuses on providing essential resources that promote mental health awareness and well-being among students.

It seeks to acquire items such as organizational tools, cleaning supplies, and decor that foster a calm and inviting atmosphere in classrooms. The idea is to create spaces where students feel safe, focused, and ready to learn, ultimately enhancing their academic performance and emotional resilience.

In addition to physical improvements, the project also emphasizes the importance of mental health education. Funds raised will support workshops and activities that teach students coping strategies, mindfulness techniques, and the significance of maintaining a clean environment for mental clarity. By integrating these elements, the project aims to cultivate a holistic approach to mental health, encouraging students to take pride in their surroundings while also building emotional intelligence.
