Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year my school was lucky enough to partner with the keyboard program Music and the Brain. Everyday, the children get to practice their songs on the keyboard.

While this is an amazing opportunity for children to learn piano, between every class period, the headphones that are hooked up to the keyboards must be disinfected.

This prevents the exchange of lice and germs from child to child. At the start of every class, the children thoroughly sanitize the headphones before wearing them. I want the kids to be able to keep up with the keyboards until the end of the year, but there are just never enough wipes!
