Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students will use the materials from this project to explore and make observations about the environment in which they live. They will identify the consequences of living in a long-term unhealthy environment in comparison to an environment where they become conscious of how they have the ability to make improvements.

My students will use the results of their explorations and observations to provide solutions to sustain and maintain good healthy living habits.

They will learn the benefits of clean and sustainable living. My students will work to set up the pet waste station outside of the school building. My students have already created posters that will be posted and displayed outside the school. These posters were made to notify and remind community dog owners to pick up their dog waste. In addition, we will do daily project-based learning incorporating recycle/reduce/reuse. Students will use text resources within class lessons and group learning.
