My Students

My students are the sweetest kinders. They need technology and a clean safe environment to feel very at home in our classroom. Our kinders deserve a clean environment and access to technology. My kiddos love learning about real world events and scholastics will be perfect for them to use especially while social distancing in the classroom.

My Project

These materials will make a difference in my students learning outcomes by providing my students with tablets so they may access our learning platforms during class and do independent work since we are socially distanced. The scholastic will give my students extra topics for social studies that we can share digitally with my virtual students and individual magazines to send home and work on in the classroom. With a TPT gift card I will be able to purchase supplemental materials like classroom safety signs and activities that can be included in their asynchronous learning packets. I will also use the gift card to purchase virtual google slide libraries that the kids may go in to in school and at home since we are limiting the use of physical books in class due to reducing the spread of germs. Many of my students come to school with soiled mask and I like to have extra clean ones on hand so we’re being safe and the kiddos are not embarrassed to have a dirty mask. Our class uses a lot of tape to label things and hang up our work and signs around the room. The cleaning products will help me keep the space of my kiddos clean and reduce the germs in my room. Our school gets really dusty inside the classrooms and an air purifier will help keep our air fresh and reduce the airborne germs. With teaching our in person kiddos and our virtual students at the same time we are using multiple laptops and cameras and speakers that all have cords. The extension cords will help keep my wires out the way of my kiddos and make maneuvering the technology easier. These materials will make everyday in the classroom a little easier.
