My Students

My class is composed of 50 bright students who are eager to learn. We are a Title I, inner-city​ school, and 90% of the students receive free or reduced-price priced lunch. Despite their desire to learn, they are often faced with obstacles when it comes to financial support. Common school supplies such as folders, crayons, pencils, etc. are sometimes hard to come by. Even working with the bare minimum, my students come to school with their best foot forward and an open mind, ready to learn.

My Project

To assist with providing a clean and safe learning environment, these supplies would be vital.

Due to the low-income community funds are limited.

The pencils and crayons will provide each student with their own supplies to avoid the sharing of materials and encourage a cleaner environment. The anti-bacterial wipes will allow me to clean their desk often and any other common areas. Lastly, hand sanitizer is essential in keeping my students' hands clean throughout the day. Please, help us make our learning environment safe and healthy.
