My Project

My students love the lab part of the course so it's important that they can keep it clean. Part of that is wiping down counters when they tie dye (a favorite lab every year!), but the sponges are ruined after cleaning up dyes. The students are great about hand-washing after labs and we go through a lot of hand soap!

I am hoping to replace some of the needed supplies for the hygiene of students and the lab, as well as some other necessary supplies which we have run low on.

In the unit on Chemical Bonding, students use shaving cream to do paper marbling. Our food coloring supply has run low and the bottles need to be refilled!

Inevitably, when batteries need to be replaced in the digital thermometers or pH meters, it's several all at once. The last thing we need is small paper plates. Occasionally treats are brought in and it's best not to set them on the bare desk. They may also find a use in some other creative student project!
