My Project

My students are so awesome. They come to school every day ready to learn. Despite their best efforts, they struggle with emotional and learning difficulties.

As they are growing and developing, they continue to struggle with basic hygiene awareness and skills.

As an educator, it is my job to collaborate with their parents and assist with educating my students towards being healthy and responsible in their everyday hygiene routine.

Good personal hygiene plays a critical role in promoting a positive self-image and reinforces healthy habits. Many of our students lack the basic necessities to maintain good hygiene and hygiene practices.

We encourage good hygiene strategies at school and want love to extend them to our students' home lives. We have a high number of students who live in poverty and cannot afford deodorant, hairbrushes, kleenex and sanitizer. It's these necessities no child should go without. Hand sanitizer also helps keep germs from spreading, keeping us healthy and in school.

As we move from flu to allergy season, this will help keep my students healthy and at school.

We need these nice soft tissues because we do A LOT of nose blowing with winter colds and then spring allergies! Hand sanitizer also helps keep germs from spreading. Weathering this season requires clean glasses and clean bodies. The glasses wipes will make it easier to see our work. Sometimes a little bar of soap will help empower them to continue hygiene at home.

Toothbrushes, floss, toothpaste, hair picks brushes and combs give us the confidence to create an appearance we feel confident in.

We encourage these good hygiene strategies at school and would love to extend them to our students' homes. It's these necessities no child should go without.
