My Students

Our students come to school eager to learn with their mind and heart open for everything their teachers have to offer.

School is a very important part of our students lives.

We teach at a Title I school with over 70% of our students receivng a free or reduced-price lunch and all of our students get free breakfast in the mornings. We have a backpack program that sends home food with kids over the weekend and offers free lunch for students over the summer break.

My Project

My students come to school full of life and ready to learn! Just like adults, they get tired of sitting in hard chairs all day! My Kindergarten students need more flexible and comfortable seating options to enhance engagement and learning.

We are requesting easily cleaned, comfortable cushions in my flexible seating Kindergarten classroom!

These cushions will give my students the opportunity to sit comfortably and move around while they are learning. The Clorox spray will help keep the seats clean and germ free. It is important to keep my students healthy in a comfortable environment.

This project would significantly help my students stay engaged in our learning throughout the day. I want them to feel comfortable and at home in our classroom. I cannot wait to see all of the things we can do with flexible seating!
