My Project

I am writing to request funding for a vacuum cleaner to be used in our classroom. I teach a special education class in a Title I school, and unfortunately, we do not have an individual budget for classroom supplies. At this time, our classroom is without a working vacuum, which has become a challenge for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a healthy, safe environment for our students.

One of the things my students really enjoy is sitting on our reading rug, a space where they can gather for lessons, read books, and collaborate with one another.

However, without a vacuum, we can no longer keep the rug clean and sanitary, which means we have had to stop using it for group activities. This is a disappointment for the students, as they love that space, and it’s an important part of our flexible seating options.

A donation of a vacuum would not only help us keep the classroom clean, but it would also allow us to reintroduce the reading rug for our students, providing them with the opportunity to engage in their learning in a comfortable and inviting space. Your generous support would make a huge difference in the daily lives of my students, allowing them to thrive in a safe and well-maintained classroom.
