Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a family of 26. We are part of the Bronx community. My students are constantly finding new ways to learn and expand their learning horizons. My students are a bubbly group of students who are deserving of materials that will give them access to more information and challenge their learning!

But now more than ever in such crazy times like these my students as well as my own healthy and safety comes first!

Help create a safe learning environment for all!

The joy that comes through my students' eyes and smiles when they are learning is astounding. My students have a thirst for knowledge; they are always striving to be better than they were the day before. They are hard working third graders. Learning empowers us and as my students continue to learn they thrive and see the world in multiple perspectives!

My Project

I have requested materials for my classroom where my students and I will be able to learn safely and comfortably. Last year we were abruptly uprooted from our home (classroom) due to the CoronaVirus. This year our classrooms and school community will be starting school differently but also with the added fear of CoVid-19. Having materials such as an air purifier will subside those fears.

I have requested a few materials that I believe will I create an environment where my students and I are not only safe but ready to learn!

I have also requested a printer because I want to prevent the least amount of movement to areas where many school faculty go such as the teacher's lounge to use computers and printers. Having my own printer will allow me to get more materials to my students within our own classroom.

Please help provide these materials to my classroom to create a happy and healthy 2020-2021 school year. Thank you!
