Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Some of our students are in desperate need of school winter essentials. Some of our children come to school in the same clothing that they have worn many days in a row. Some have holes and are either too big or too small. During our colder days, the children often come to school with no coats and hats or they are layered with two to three small sweaters.

Our kiddos will focus better and enjoy their day if they have clean and comfortable clothing.

Our goal is to provide a classroom shelf for our students when they are in need. We will provide winter essentials for the students that have ill-fitting or worn-out clothing. We will provide them with hats, gloves, pants, and coats when they don't have any or have worn the same ones for several days. For our kiddos who come to school without coats and hats, we will be able to provide them with something to help keep them warm.
