Clean and Confident: Empowering Students with Essential Care Items

At Francis Marion School, our students are filled with potential, resilience, and enthusiasm for learning.

Despite facing numerous challenges, they come to school every day eager to expand their knowledge. Their determination and positive attitude inspire me daily.

How the Items Will Make a Difference in Their Learning

The personal care items we are requesting—washcloths, lip balm, hotel toiletries, deodorant, wipes, and disposable toothbrushes with toothpaste—will enhance our students' well-being and focus:

Washcloths: Promote good hygiene and self-esteem.

Lip Balm: Prevent distractions caused by chapped lips.

Hotel Toiletries (Soap, Shampoo, Conditioner, Lotion): Help students feel fresh and comfortable.

Deodorant: Boost confidence about personal hygiene.

Wipes: Provide a convenient way to stay clean.

Disposable Toothbrushes with Toothpaste: Maintain oral hygiene, crucial for health and confidence.

Goals for This Project

Our primary goal is to create a supportive environment where all students feel clean, comfortable, and confident. By providing these essential personal care items, we aim to:

Improve attendance and participation by addressing basic hygiene needs.

Enhance self-esteem and focus, allowing students to engage more fully in their education.

Foster a sense of community and care, showing students that their well-being is a top priority.
