The specific items such as deodorant, toothpaste, and toothbrushes will help students come to school physically and mentally prepared to learn. Additionally snacks and bottled water might be just what a student (who may not have the energy to power through until lunch) needs.
Sometimes students don’t put their best in or have positive experiences because they are concerned about whether they are physically prepared.
This distracts them from learning and socializing with their peers. Students should be able to have a comfortable and pleasant experience where they are able to interact with their peers and teachers without feeling limited or afraid that they will be bullied or rejected because of things that are beyond their control.
