My Students

My students are 6th graders who come from all types of backgrounds. I teach standard classes, advanced and gifted. They are sweet children that are going from being the oldest in the school to now the youngest.

They are excited for what they will get to do in middle school science (in their minds it always involves blowing up things in a beaker).

They always have such grand ideas of a science lab! One of my goals is to give them a safe science rich class that will drive their passion for science and knowledge.

My Project

This year many students will be returning to school with many unknowns. Face masks, desk partitions and social distancing will be a new experience in school for students. Being around so many people is going to be a cause for concern for many students who have been staying home for the past several months.

Having a medical grade air purifier will allow students to feel more comfortable in their learning environment knowing they are breathing clean air.

This purifier will also help mitigate exposure to the necessary use of cleaning products during the pandemic as well as everyday allergens and VOCs due to the high quality HEPA filter.
