Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work at a Title I school. I will be teaching 28 1st grade children in the Bronx. All of the children receive free breakfast and lunch. Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning. I incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year! The supplies that are requested will all children in the classroom. These children just need someone who cares! Please help if you can!
My Project
I continuously strive to provide a clean learning environment for my students. One big way that I can enhance our classroom learning environment is to provide healthy, clean air!
I am requesting an air purifier and to enhance the air quality in my classroom.
An air purifier will help eliminate allergens and help minimize the spread of everyday germs. My hope is that this helps deter absences and also promotes a healthy atmosphere for my students. Clean air will help the students be healthy, alert, and ready for learning.
Please help me keep a clean and fresh learning environment for students to learn and grow!
