My Students

Hello! I teach in a K-2 school with approximately 1,000 students. Our school has a diverse population of students. My students are smart, enthusiastic, creative, hardworking, eager, and respectful. My classroom consists of students from all different backgrounds. I have high functioning students, low functioning students, and ELL students. My school offers reading and math interventions to aid struggling learners in their educational success.

I am dedicated to my students.

It is my goal to provide an inviting, nurturing, and warm classroom where each student feels comfortable.

Our school does not receive Title I funding. Thus, the technology and resources in my classroom are limited. Most of my resources are supplied by either myself or through parent donations. The environment provided by the administration, teachers, and staff is inviting and nurturing. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of each student that walks through the doors.

My Project

For this project, I am asking for an air purifier. My school is returning to in person classes in a few weeks and I would like to provide my students with as safe of a learning environment as possible. The current pandemic in the United States has caused a lot of stress and uncertainties. As parents have had to make a difficult decision to send their kids back to the classroom, I want them to feel confident that I am doing everything I can to keep their kids safe.

An air purifier is one way students and teachers can stay safe during COVID-19.
