Help me give my students clean air with air purifiers for large classroom!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Hart's classroom raised $956

My Students
My art classes are full of curious artists in grades TK-fifth grade. Our school serves over 60% English language learners and over 95% low income families.
A relatively new challenge is managing air quality in classrooms during fire season when the wildfire smoke leads to an unhealthy air quality index.
Many students have asthma and need to limit their exposure even on moderate AQI days.
This project will fund two air purifiers for our large art room, and basic supplies.
My Project
Students need clean air and a clean learning environment. Our school's zip code has some of the worst air quality index ratings in the city. Add on the recent wildfire smoke and we really need these air purifiers to ensure healthy, breathable air in our large classroom.
I have had students request to go to the nurse for their asthma inhaler every week this school year since before the wildfires and smoke started.
Lastly, a few basics such as spray cleaner, disinfecting wipes, and Kleenex boxes reduce the spread of germs. Page protectors and file folders organize class handouts. Small sand timers will add to our peace corner.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
