My Students

The students at my school are highly motivated to meet new challenges, especially when it comes to learning new technologies. We are the only campus in our district to move to a 1:1 program where every student has a school provided Chromebook or a laptop from home. Most classes use Google Classroom to streamline assignment, projects, and tests as well as to reduce the amount of paper we use every day. In addition to being academically motivated, our campus has one of the most spirited student bodies I've ever come across. Just come by one of our amazing rallies to see it in person!

My Project

In our first-ever remote learning school year, our students need everything they can to be successful. Having the right tools for the job will allow them to work on all the necessary skills in an intro ceramics class.

As all of us are improvising a teaching and learning environment, access to the proper materials, tools, supplies, and technology will only help us feel more connected to the subject as well as allow us to be able to do the job more efficiently.

These tool kits will be used by students at home on almost every project for as long as necessary. They are needed for scoring, carving, sgraffito, smoothing, shaping, and cutting.
