Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students come from challenging socioeconomic backgrounds and sometimes parents struggle to keep up with the different activities we have going on throughout the school year. We celebrate cultural events, holidays, special events, and such that request students to dress up. With this heat press, we can create art on their shirts to help them feel included in the events going on. Dress-up days become overwhelming to parents, but with the heat press we can design their shirts in the classroom and parents won't feel the pressure of having to participate in everything.
