This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students work hard each day and strive to learn new and exciting skills. It is important that I am able to get a quick assessment on which students need my help, which are ready to move on, or to see who is ready to be challenged. We use white boards everyday to solve and discuss math problems. It is a great and easy way for them to show me what they know. The ones we are currently using are falling apart and in very bad shape. What better to reward students with than a sweet treat. My class gets really excited to earn suckers.
