This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

How do we prepare our kids for the future? We need to educate them about the world around them because they will be the ones leading our world in years to come. Classroom transformations take students away from the normal classroom feel and create an exciting and engaging environment to learn and grow.

I have a variety of student reading abilities and they are all coming from a variety of cultural backgrounds and socio-economic statuses.

My school and classroom is a place that encourages students to think critically and be problem solvers without the fear of taking a risk and making a mistake.I am trying to encourage real world problem solving skills by using classroom transformations along with STEM activities to engage students and get them excited about learning from all cultural backgrounds and socio-economic statuses.

My Project

This project is for a variety of decorations and materials I need in order to transform my classroom into a variety of environments such as a laboratory, hospital operating room, Italian pizzeria, and a team of covered wagons.

Students will be doing fun, engaging activities themed with the room transformation that they will remember for years to come.

By providing the materials on my list, students will have a detailed experience with props and decor that helps them fully engage in learning and be excited about what new learning is to come in the future!
