My Students

My classroom is organized chaos. We are always having fun while we are learning! My classroom is filled with students that barely have the basic necessities, much less the materials they need for school.

Our school has a high poverty rate, with most students receiving free or reduced-priced lunches.

For many students in our area, school is where they experience many "firsts" or new things. Some students have never even traveled more than 30 minutes from home. It is amazing how they can accomplish so much with so little.

My Project

This is an unprecedented time for schools. Teachers and students will be learning how to move forward during this pandemic.

This project will help get tools for students to learn and grow during this time.

Pencils are always a must-have and the dispenser will hopefully help eliminate some germs from the common classroom pencil cup. My students also need things read to them so I am always in need of headphones. The phone holder will help for videoing my lessons for our virtual learning students this year. Finally, the colored masking tape will help me code supplies so students know their specific computers, tables, etc. to help eliminate the transfer of germs.
