My Students

My students need technology for the 21st century to help us explore our world.

This is a magnet school, and very socioeconomically diverse.

In fact, it was founded largely to address the resegregation of schools with the end of court ordered busing. It has been a great success for our students, grades 6-12. They learn so much from each other's diverse backgrounds!

My Project

Help us explore our world via online technology, PowerPoint, Google Art Project (where the world's museums share their collections), and more! There are so many resources that a working classroom laptop will help us explore! Currently our school has very old, outdated technology.

While our school is high performing, I am surprised by how few material resources there are.

I previously came from a Title One school, with tons of money to order materials. Though over half our students are Title One, we have lost all Title One funding for next year. Our students deserve teachers who can provide them with a multisensory experience, and a working laptop will help! Thank you for your support!
